When I uploaded this photo to Instagram, my husband told me I looked like one of the robots from Westworld. I thought good, I know the vitamin C serum I’m using is working. 😂
This @olehenriksen Vitamin C 🍊 Serum was sent to me complimentary via @influenster, which I thought 💭 was a bold move considering I use #skinceuticals C E FERULIC every morning and it’s basically the gold standard of vitamin C…
I tried the @olehenriksen serum for a week and my “testimonial” is for this price point ($65) is that it’s definitely “worth” giving it a whirl. In the past I had used to use their Truth Serum for about two+ years and know the brand is good.
I think it’s important to remember that your skincare products should be multi-tasking for you. This not only brightens the skin but delivers antioxidants and helps to reduce the signs of aging. Anyone above the age of 18 frankly should be incorporating a vitamin C product of some sort in their daily skincare routine.
You just have to find one that works — as in it balances your skin and doesn’t destroy your wallet. There’s a space and place for all brands with good formulations.
With that being said…I still love my C E Ferulic from SkinCeuticals more than any other Vitamin C serum I’ve tried. EVER. It really is our industry’s leader for Vitamin C, and it’s been around long enough to where you know not only does it actually work, but every brand tries to break it’s code and can’t. Yes, it’s expensive, but if it WORKS, then there’s no argument.
