Dinnerware Lust vs. Must

A couple months ago I discovered Kelly Wearstler’s amazing fine china collection and since then have been wondering how in the world am I going to find the right dinnerware pieces that translate this to everyday. It would be a lot easier if I had loads of cash and could just buy Kelly’s fine china collection and use it daily and feel like a princess, BUT, that is not my fate (yet haha). I mean just look at how amazing some of these hand painted pieces are:

Fortunately I think I have come across an extremely affordable option from IKEA. Their TICKAR dinnerware series in black and white has the modern, two toned look I want that is a little more interesting than you’re typical white set. Although there’s no gold anywhere in sight, I can easily add gold touches in with place mats, napkins, and centerpiece options that I can mix up whenever I want. And when I say this is an affordable option, I’m not exaggerating in the least. If you purchase 6 of each item in this series (that’s two different types of bowls and three different types of plates), you’ll only spend $113.70 plus tax. THAT’S IT. Definitely a MUST!ikea tickar dinnerware Tickar Series
