I Stopped Scrolling
Sometimes, life feels like one long scroll—a continuous stream of moments, events, and emotions. But every now and then, something happens that makes you stop in your tracks, look up, and take it all in. That’s where I’ve been these past six months: living through the kind of moments that make you pause, reflect, and recalibrate.

On the most recent episode of The Book of Caleb podcast, Michael and I pull back the curtain on what’s been happening in our lives lately. Spoiler alert: it’s been a lot. Here’s a sneak peek:
- We moved into a new house. It’s been exciting, chaotic, and everything in between. Settling into a new space has brought fresh energy, new challenges, and plenty of opportunities for growth.
- We’re expecting! Baby Caleb is on the way, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to start this next chapter as parents. Cue all the emotions and preparations!
- I planned a high school reunion. Let me tell you, revisiting the past while navigating the present is a wild ride, but reconnecting with old friends reminded me how much life’s chapters shape who we are.
- The passing of my dad. This has been one of the most profound and difficult experiences of my life. I’ve been processing grief while holding onto the joy and love that he brought into my world.
As we wrap up 2024 and look ahead to 2025, Michael and I are setting our sights on what’s next—personally, professionally, and everything in between. This podcast episode is all about the ups and downs, the big moments, and what’s giving us hope for the year ahead.
So, if you’ve been curious about what we’ve been up to, grab your coffee, hit play, and join us for a heartfelt conversation on The Book of Caleb. Let’s stop scrolling together and focus on what really matters.
