OK, so if you had to choose just one beauty product that is overall the BEST product you use, what would it be? I am a beauty junkie for sure and with an open mind I am willing to try just about anything at least once. I don’t have allegiance to one brand – in fact there are so many brands competing for my ‘business’, and my goal is to just look good, so I feel no guilt in the fact that I’m not loyal to one brand in particular. If brand Y does it better than brand X, you better believe I’m switching to brand Y.

The same logic can be applied to why I go back to a certain product or brand after trying a different one. Long story short here, I’ve been using this Tarte’s Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer for over a year and liked the product very much, but after a visit to designer beauty counter decided to ‘upgrade’ (translation: pay more) to their version of a tinted moisturizer. I’m not here to bash retailers that didn’t work for me so I’ve chosen NOT to name the brand, but I will say I broke out like crazy and on some more unusual spots on my face–blemishes on my chin, around my nose, and even small ones underneath my eyes! This was literally the only thing that I changed in my beauty routine and after two weeks of trying the other brand’s tinted moisturizer I gave up and went back on the Tarte sauce. Seriously, I couldn’t be more in love with this product right now. Tarte’s Amazonian clay BB illuminating moisturizer with SPF 15 is the best base I’ve used – you can use it for simple sheer coverage or as a primer before applying a powder foundation.  The tube doesn’t seem very big at 1.7 ounces but I have been using the same one daily for over four months, a little goes a long way and provides a great base coverage. What is the beauty product you swear by?

Note: This product is not to be confused with their amazonian clay BB tinted moisturizer with SPF 20 – it comes in a very similar tube and has more shade options but I have not tried it.
